Study Spanish in Spain Malaga clima, sun, friendsBeaches in Malaga and the Costa del sol tend to be long wide strips of sand which include El Candado, Las Acacias, Baños del Carmen, La Malagueta, San Andrés, Misericordia...We emphasize La Malagueta y El Palo.

In recent years great efforts have been devoted to regenerating and cleaning the beaches of Malaga as well as improving their facilities. The many blue flags awarded by the European Union to the Malaga beaches illustrate the high quality of the beaches here. La Malaguetais a large beach which is 1200 metre long and 45 metres wide. It is near to the city centre and is subsequently very popular. You can either walk to the beach or drive as car parking is available. Amenities here are very good with showers, telephones and plenty of bars and restaurants.

Playa del Chanquete is called after the tiny fish that once formed the daily catch for fishermen in this area (but are now an endangered species). This beach is a very popular picnic spot for the local families surrounded by restaurants and snack bars that serve excellent fresh seafood.

Learn Spanish on beach Malaga SpainPlayas de las Acacias is a favourite beach with the young people. The long promenade has several stalls selling beach items, gifts and souvenirs as well as a number of restaurants and bars.

Playas de la Misericordia is very popular and is always busy with sunbathers, swimmers and joggers. Stalls along the beach sell grilled sardines.

If you are planning to stay longer in our city then you might consider to attend a Spanish course in order to improve your communication.
